Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt returned to action in the 200m at the
ExxonMobil Bislett Games in Oslo on Thursday night, in the wake ofhis
100m defeat to American Justin Gatlin in Rome.
Usain Bolt.
The 200m race was the last event of the evening as the Olympic gold
medalist paced through to provide the only meeting record of the IAAF
Diamond League Oslo meeting.
Bolt cautiously sprang out of his block after the dismissal ofEuropean
champion ChurandyMartina for a false start and raced through to the
finish line in 19.79secs which was faster than the meeting recordset
by Namibia's Frankie Fredericks in 1996.
Norway's Jaysuma Saidy Ndure finished second with a season's best of
20.36secs with Britain's James Ellington third in 20.55secs.
On a dry and cold evening, the multiple World-record holder might have
wished there was a bit of summer haze in the weather.

"It was very chilly today, but I ran as fast as I could, and asI
promised," Bolt said. "I'm never worried; I never focus on somebody
else."
"… My goals are the same- to be the best in the world and win three
gold medals in Moscow. And my dream is to break 19 seconds in the
200m," added Bolt.
