Nicki Minaj Unveils Kmart Clothing Line

When we first reported that Nicki Minaj was designing a clothing line
forKmart, we had visions of wild, multi-colored clothes and
accessories made for the masses at an affordable price point.
Turns out, we were right.
The eccentric star recently unveiled a sneak peek of her collection,
and we spied a smattering of curve-hugging clubbing dresses, funky
printed leggings, vibrant puffy vests, metallic bustiers and more in a
video on the Huffington Post,.
Our initial reaction? Well, we're not quite on board with this bold
creative direction.
Sure, the rapper's personal style is certainly out there, but we're
betting her intepretation for the fast fashion line might not
translate so well for thereal world.
But if you ask Ms. Minaj, she had a method for her fashion madness.
"There are some dresses that I am obsessing over already. They tuck
you in in the right places and enhance youin the right places," she
explains of herbody-conscious designs, which she emphasizes aren't as
"crazy" as one might expect. "Comfortable equals confident. I'm doing
this for women ingeneral to feel beautiful and sexy. Anywoman can wear
it and feel confident!"
Alright, Nicki, now this we've gotta see!
