Porn Movie Enters Nigerian Market From Ghana.

These days, Nigerian street corners are saturated with movies that
should only be sold discreétly in some designated outlets, due to
theirvisible ádult contént. But TON gathered that most of the movies
arebrought into Nigeria from Ghana andas such do not pass through
necessary screéning.
Reacting to the issue, Nigerian Censors Board head, Ms Patricia Bala, said:
"Because it's an underground thing, it keeps coming up, and we have
been trying to trace the sources enough to understand that most of
these movies émanate from pórnographic sites on the internet. We have
been trying to tracé the people who operaté such sites on internet.
"We have been to Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the
Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC), and they said they don't
regulate content on the internet.
"Our next approach is to approach YouTube and other site managers that
dosuch business, so that we can stop them. As a matter of fact, we
want those sites to be blocked."
I think the prolifération of ádult-contént movies on our streets
shouldworry every right thinking person.
