Tips For Living A Life Of Excellence

The Here and Now
It's about being present and living in the moment. Too many times in
life we let things get in the way of us truly enjoying each and every
moment, not being present in the moment is one of the biggest mistakes
people make,and they do so unknowingly.
Being in the moment is what lets you enjoy life and be fully in tune
with it, bringing happiness to your life. When you are not present in
the moment, your body is present,but your mind is not. You are only
thinking or worrying about other things instead. What you're doing is
wasting your time and the time of others. Snap out of it.
Be present in each and every moment that you are blessed with. Enjoy
those around you and the experiences that you are currently having.
This verymoment will never happen again exactly the same way, so you
might as well be present and enjoy it to its fullest potential as well
as make it enjoyable to those around you, all by being present in the
moment.
You can have all the things we described above, from the beautiful
homes to luxury items, but if and only if you are present mentally;
otherwise these moments won't stay with you long enough to matter.
Be Grateful
Sometimes we get caught up in our 21st century problems and complain
when our Internet isn't working fast enough, or if our phone dies too
fast. Yes, it is pretty evident that we as a generation and a
population have become a bit spoiled in just about every aspect of
life.We have lost the hustle and expect to be babied, having
everything handed to us for the rest of our lives, expectingthings to
always fall into place for us. What we all needto do is stop being
babies andappreciate what we have beenblessed with in this world.
There are many out there thatdon't even have half of what you have and
only dream of your life or the opportunities that you have in front of
you. Like that famous quote goes, 'your present condition is another
person's prayer request'. We as a generation have managed to take all
of this for granted and have forgotten that it takes hard work to
truly get what we want out of life. Before you try to get more out of
life, try being grateful for what you already have. If you can't be
grateful now, what makes youthink that you will appreciate anything
else that you acquirealong the way?
Respecting Yourself and Others
Next we come to love for yourself and the love for your purpose in
life. Once you havethose two things you will be able to propel your
passion inlife and allow yourself to wake up every morning and start
the day running rather than being miserable, wantingto go back to
sleep. Once youattain the love, then that is when you attain the
respect for others and receive their respect back. Passion is what
drives us.

Everything on this planet has a presence, from the rocks, plants and
animals, to the soil,worms, and the very core of the earth itself. If
you cannot see or feel this to be true, thisarticle will not resonate
with you.
Be Healthy
Some of us forget the folk tale saying that your wealth means nothing
without your health. What are you going todo? Be the richest person in
the cemetery? No, to truly enjoy life you need to stay healthy and
keep a balance inyour mind and in your body. This means going for
regular check-ups, after all you check your bank balance regularly,
how important is your health to you? We'll be offering health tests

One of the most important screenings a woman can do is for cervical
cancer. Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in women and
the most common cause of death from a gynaecologic cancer, however
this death rate in the developed world has declined by 75% since
theroutine cervical screening was introduced. These are available here
in Nigeria too but the sad truth is a lot of women don't go for
screenings until it's too late; itshould happen every 3-4 years.
Be Well
Life is made for your enjoyment, not for you to justthrow away and
take your body for granted. Eat healthily, exercise and be in shape,
because that is something that comes with success and is a part of
being a WOWe woman. One of the biggest challenges some women face is
weight loss.
There are so many diets, different weight loss fads, newtricks, pills
and much more, for losing weight. All promise to be revolutionary and
all promise to create a new you. Who are we to judge? Some work and
some don't. Years ago trans-fat, a dangerous, man-made lipid found in
margarine, was thought to be healthier than regular fats. By the
mid-90s, public health journals revealed the oppositeto be true. If
the scientists sometimes get it wrong, it is safe to say that
understandingthe nuances of nutrition can be tricky and hard to
follow.
Sometimes the best way to lose weight is to ignore trendsand
fly-by-night advice, and instead focus on healthy eating strategies.
Develop healthy habits like taking the stairs and not eating late,
stickto them, and no matter what small nutrition blunders you might
make, you'll still keep yourself on the road to a slim and sexy
