The shadow dancers narrowly beat Jack Carroll and Richard &Adam to
become the winner of this year's competition.
Tonight's show was rocked with a scandalous egg throwing moment dubbed
'egg gate', but that wasn't enough to stop true talent shining
through. After 11 amazing acts performed, Attraction emerged
victorious after securing the viewers vote.
Their audition and semi-final performances left everyone's eyes
filledwith tears, tonight everyone's hearts was full of pride as
Attraction put on apatriotic performance that lead to them being
crowned the winner. They will now share a £250,000 prize and will
perform at the prestigious Royal Variety Show.
The Hungarian shadow dancers' final performance was their chance to
show Britain how grateful they were for the country embracing them and
taking them into their hearts. With union jacks, Churchill and The
Queen featured, it was a performance every Briton can be proud of.
The judges were obviously full of high praise with Amanda saying: "you
couldn't have done a better performance...You've embraced Britain and
we embrace you back!"
Simon added that "you really know how to pull on the heartstrings",
whilstDavid said that it was "fantastically moving." And to top off
the praise, Alesha said that it was "the main attraction tonight...
epic!"
But Attraction faced stiff competition from the other contestants,
including Francine Lewis, Pre Skool and Wildcardwinner Steve Hewlett.
And it seemed everyone upped their game for the final.
The judges were impressed with the level of talent in the fianl show.
(ITV Pictures)
Jack Carroll, was a worthy runner up after his comedy act left the
judges in stitches. After making gags on everything from the Olympics
to rival show The Voice, fellow comedian David Walliams told the 14
year-old: "you are one of my favourite comedians... you are going to
go on tobecome a comedy superstar!"
Completing the top 3 were talented brothers Richard and Adam, whose
performance almost left their Nan (who is their biggest fan), fit to
burst with joy. However, their song was overshadowed by a girl
storming the stage to throw eggs at the judges!
The lady in question seemed to emergefrom either the choir or the
orchestra and proceeded to throw eggs, mainly in the direction of
Simon Cowell. After successfully hitting Simon (and ruininghis jacket
in the process), she was dragged off stage by security.
Ant and Dec commended the brothers for carrying on the performance
despite the intrusion- now dubbed as#egggate. Well, that's live
television foryou!
The exciting final also featured musical performances from special
guest Psy who performed his track 'Gentleman' and an exclusive duet
between Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.
Attraction closed the show by sharing their winning performance once again.
They were hot favourites to win the show despite receiving criticism
for notbeing British. However, it was the case of triumph over
adversity and following their win, Attraction's lead dancer Zoltan
thanked the British public for voting.
So there you have it, Britain's Got Talent is over for another year
and what a show it has been! Bring on next year!
