Two Docked For Killing Man With ‘Fist Blows’

A Magistrate's court in Yaba has remanded two men in Ikoyi
Prison, Lagos State after being arraigned for allegedly killing
one Murisiku Abdullahi in October 2012.
Moses Paul, 30, and Ogunremi Kehinde, 30, were said to
have beaten the deceased with "fist blows" till he became
unconscious. He was later taken to the hospital where he
was confirmed dead.
The incident occurred at Hi-tech Construction Company
Nigeria, Ltd, located at Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos.
"That you, Moses Paul, M, and Ogunremi Kehinde,M, and
others at large, on the 10th day of October, 2012, between
the hours of 16.30 and 2330 hours at Hi-Tech Construction
Company Nigeria Ltd, Site Eko Akete, Ibeju Lekki Lagos, in
the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire amongst
yourselves to commit felony to wit; murder and thereby
committed an offence punishable under Section 221 of the
Criminal Laws of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011," the two counts
read in part.
The Magistrate, Mrs. S.K Matepo, however did not entertain
their application for bail, after they pleaded not guilty to the
charges.
She adjourned the matter till July 22.
